How to get to the kayak launching place
With Rental Kayak Titicaca option you create your own itinerary, decide the departure time and how fast you paddle on your dreamed kayak adventure out of the crowds on the highest navigable Lake in the world.
You have to take a taxi from your downtown hotel to Isla Esteves launch place, on arrival meet me at the control pass of GHL Lago Titicaca Hotel.
When booking the kayak rental kayak from Uros Kayak Company, I’ll deliver your equipment and gear to the kayak launching place to make your vacation as convenient and stress-free as possible. Best of all kayaks are available at any hour of the day from 7:00 am up to 5:00 pm.
You just show up at the Isla Esteves kayak launching place (I’ll send you the map pin link) at the requested time with previous pre-payment and confirmation. Get ready to hit the water with friends, family or alone.

On the spot I’ll assist you on getting in your kayak, I’ll show you the way to get to the reed floating Islands and provide some clue information about the route.
After 45 minutes paddling, at the end of the waterway channel, you’ll arrive at the surreal floating village.
You could disembark on a local family’s Island and get a unique glimpse of the life style and learn about its innovative way of building their reed homes or simple paddle among the set of reed islands.
