Afternoon Kayak Titicaca begins at 2 pm with pick-up at your hotel, an English guide, car transfers, entry tickets and encounter with local families at Uros.
If you just have a few hours to visit Lake Titicaca upon your arrival from Cusco, Arequipa, Copacabana or La Paz by bus, in the late afternoon, then venture on a kayak adventure at Lake Titicaca’s incredible floating village and returning at its most glorious time the sunset. Daily departures guaranteed with even one solo kayaker.
Glide your kayak through a stunning spots of Lake Titicaca National Reserve on a 45-minute paddling towards Uros Islands. Learn from your guide about the process of building the islands. Head back to Puno city through the same water way. Get transferred back to your hotel or bus station.

Afternoon Kayak Titicaca Tour Itinerary
2:00 pm – Hotel or Bus Station pick-up
Wait for our driver at your address or bus station and get transferred to the starting place on a 15-minute car transfer. Our driver will keep your luggage if it is required while the tour takes place.
Your guide will be waiting for you with the fully equipped kayak. Previous kayak experience is not required. Get in your kayak and paddle to Uros islands.
You’ll paddle on calm and tranquil water and enjoy the beauty view of the area. The landscape is surrounded by reeds the material Uros population gets for making their floating homes.
3:00 pm – Encounter the local families at the Lake Titicaca floating Islands
Sunset Uros
One of these families will give us a warm welcoming to their reed house (if time permitting). We’ll learn how long takes to finish it, why do they live and more.
So after the short explanation you have some extra time to encounter with the Islanders or just get in your kayak again and be ready to see the sun falling over the Islands.
Then we’ll kayak back to the same departure point. Get the last views of the place by paddling slow.
Upon arrival the driver will transfer you to your hotel.
